Indoor Air Pistol Matches

 

Dates: October 11, 2025 January 10, 2026

November 8, 2025 February 7, 2026

 

Time: Clubhouse opens at 8:00 AM for registration and setup

Firing begins for 1st relay at 9:00 AM

2nd relay (if needed) begins at 11:00 AM

Who May Compete: (CMP 3.1) All CMP-sponsored or CMP-sanctioned matches are open to any individual or team that complies with these eligibility requirements and this edition of the CMP AIR RIFLE AND AIR PISTOL COMPETITION RULES. U. S. citizenship is not required to participate. Individual membership in the CMP or a sponsoring organization is not required to participate. Any person who has been convicted of a Federal or State felony or any violation of Section 922 of Title 18, U. S. Code, is not eligible to participate in any activity sponsored or sanctioned by the CMP. (CMP3.2) Before an individual is permitted to participate in any CMP-sponsored or CMP sanctioned competition, the sponsoring club or the CMP Competitions Department shall have on file a notarized affidavit from that individual certifying that they: a) Has not been convicted of any Federal or State felony or violation of Section 922 of Title 18 United States Code, and b) Is not a member of any organization that advocates the violent overthrow of the United States Government.

 

Entry Fees: Adults will be $10 and Juniors will be $5. This includes the fees for submission to the CMP for classification.

 

Rules: Current (2025) CMP Air Pistol rules will apply. Competitors currently will not be broken down into classes. Competitor scores will be submitted for classification to the CMP and those competitors without a current CMP number will be assigned one by the CMP office.

 

Scoring: Scoring will be done on the integer system. Competitors will act as scorers. Overlays and plugs will be on site.

 

Course of Fire: The match will be fired on the B40/4 multiple bullseye targets. The course of fire will be unlimited sighters in 15 minutes at start of match. Match will then consist of three 25 minutes sessions with 5 shots per bull for a total of 60 record shots.

 

Pistols: Pistols may be spring, CO2 or PCP and .177 caliber single shot.

 

Ammunition: .177 cal lead pellets. NO BBs due to ricochet problems.

 

Awards: Bragging Rights

 

Facilities: The firing line consists of 5 separate points. Firing benches are standard 8 ft banquet tables. Restrooms are on sight and range is heated. Numerous hotels and food merchants are within 5 minutes of the range. Parking is in a gravel lot adjacent to the clubhouse.
